Model # MSC-12HAC1-I/O
If you are looking to purchase the perfect mini split, look no further. This 12,000 BTU (20 SEER) Mini Split Air Conditioner/Heat Pump that can cool, heat, dry or simply fan your room now has WiFi capabilities. The packaging includes Indoor Unit- Air Handler, Outdoor Unit with a GMCC Compressor, LCD Remote Control plus a FREE installation kit with 16 foot lineset, and installation is easy with a licensed and professional contractor.
Working in 5 modes of standard operation: Auto, Cool, Heat, Fan and Dry. There are also plenty of preset features programmed into it. The Automatic Switch Over mode allows an automated operation. Timer function powers off the mini split after a period of time, saving you money. Sleep mode mirrors the bodies naturally changing temperature levels while we sleep, aiding an uninterrupted night of sleep. In case of a temporary power outage Auto Restart function restarts the system to continue running the same way after power is returned to the unit. Finally, the air louver automatically swings sending airflow, in three speed varieties, throughout a room rather than in a single direction. This unit offers energy savings of up to 30% compared to other conventional mini-splits. Temperature-monitor thermistor protection device comes installed in the evaporator coil, that shuts off compressor if the coil temperature reaches a temperature of 2C, protecting unit from loss of charge, coil freeze up and a dirty-filter operation. Low temperature PTC Strip allows unit to operate in heating down to -13F outdoor temperature.

Energy Savings and Lower Utility Bills
One of the primary advantages of high-SEER mini-split systems is their ability to drastically reduce energy consumption and, consequently, your utility bills. With advanced inverter technology and variable-speed compressors, these systems continuously adjust their output to match the precise cooling or heating needs of the space, minimizing energy waste.
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, upgrading from a SEER 10 system to a SEER 18 system can result in up to 40% energy savings. Over the lifespan of the system, these savings can quickly offset the initial investment, making high-SEER mini-splits a cost-effective choice.
WARRANTY
Installation of a mini split must be completed by a licensed HVAC company to ensure any issues encountered in the future are not due to improper installation/workmanship. The installation includes electrical, gas and refrigerant connections as regulated by laws, codes and guidelines at the federal, state and local levels. If it is determined that the unit is not functioning due to a manufacturing defect, a replacement part will be sent free of charge up to 1 year from date of shipment of the unit.

What does Seer Mean?
SEER, or Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, is a measure of the cooling efficiency of air conditioning and heat pump systems. It is calculated by dividing the cooling output of the system (measured in British thermal units, or BTUs) by the power input (measured in watts) over a typical cooling season. The higher the SEER rating, the more energy efficient the system is.
SEER ratings are usually between 13 and 25. A higher SEER rating indicates that the system is more energy efficient and will cost less to operate. For example, a system with a SEER rating of 13 will use more energy and cost more to operate than a system with a SEER rating of 20.
SEER is the most common way of measuring the efficiency of air conditioners and is the standard that most air conditioner manufacturers use to rate their products. The standards are set by the U.S Department of Energy, which currently set the minimum SEER rating for air conditioners sold in the United States to be 14.
