Meet the team!

We thought it would only be fitting if our customers are able to see the faces behind the name! We are an eclectic bunch. It’s safe to say we are a one of a kind mix. Ranging from Cuba, to Colombia and all the way to India via Venezuela, we are happy to introduce ourselves!

                                                                  Anil

The boss man himself! Anil graduated with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in 1984. He then furthered his education and graduated in 1986 with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, both of which were attained in Minnesota. His career path began by working at Honeywell for 19 years! This career started while he was still a student in 1982. Being able to work in such a prestigious company while attending school for one of the hardest degrees out there (in my opinion) is an achievement in itself. In 2001 he brought one of his goals to life and his own company, acr4sale was launched. Around 2011 he decided to explore the e-commerce business and the rest is history. Anil is not only the brains behind all the work we do here but he is also the heart of it all. He believes a great company starts with its employees and he works hard to ensure that we all have our needs met and that each one of us feels important and needed in this company. We couldn’t have asked for a wiser or kinder person to be el jefe!

                                                                   Jorge

Contrary to what Jorge would say, I’d call him our 2^nd boss man! We are lucky enough to have two intelligent and caring people helping run this company smoothly. Jorge graduated in 1983 from the University of Miami (go Canes, right?) with a degree in Systems Analysis. He doesn’t like titles but in the corporate world, he is considered a Managing Business Partner. The cool thing about this partnership is that he and Anil go way back, and no guys, you are not old! They met in the year 2000 and Jorge became more involved in the company as partner around November of 2016. To say that Jorge spices the office up would be an understatement. He loves to make sure everyone is always having a good day, whether it be by cracking his witty jokes or pulling us aside to make sure we are doing OK, he never fails to take time out of his day for each of us. He is always helping us focus on new ways to reach out to the HVAC community and making sure we are on top of any new trends that come our way. We could not imagine our acr4sale family without him, his heart is pure gold and he is, what Cubans would say, un pan de Dios!

                                                         Nervys (aka Nervita)

Yes, that is pronounced like “nervous.” If she had a dollar for every time someone had to ask her twice what her name was, she’d be rich! We all know her as Nervita. She joined the acr4sale team in March of 2012. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business here in Miami. As our Office Manager, she makes sure that everyone is up to date on what is going on, she always makes sure we have everything we need and honestly, she is the most organized person I’ve ever seen! Her focus here in the office is mainly with repeat clients but she is always there when any one of us needs her help! Without her, we wouldn’t know if our head was on fire. It’s thanks to her that we have such great flow here in the office. We truly have the sweetest and most caring person in charge of our home away from home, and we love her for loving us so deeply!

                                                          Bert

Hi everyone! It's me! It’s weird writing about yourself so I will keep this short and refer to myself in the third person (LOL). Bert joined the acr4sale team mid 2018, but that’s not till after working 37 years for Honeywell. Bert's desire for trying and learning new things is what Anil thought we needed for this company, and he was right! Bert came on board as our tech support for our Classic America brand and for our Honeywell products as well. He works great with our customers and our customers only have wonderful things to say about him. He is easy to talk to and very friendly, which is a quality lacking these days when it comes to customer service. We are very lucky to have him. He genuinely enjoys helping people, and our customers have even sent him hand written notes of appreciation that have made him blush and tear up a bit (though he won’t admit it). Born in Venezuela, Bert is fluent in Spanish and English.  Though his choice of wardrobe is always questionable, he definitely brings color to this office with his intriguing ideas and crazy ways of making us think outside of the box. By the way, he wanted you to know that he's a Miller Lite drinker- pic shows Corona because they ran out of his brand!!!

                                                     Nikita

With a name like Nikita, you can only expect someone as interesting to match! Located in India, Nikita works with us to ensure we have the best tools and web features to enhance the customer experience. She also manages our sales in India. She attended BMS College in India and graduate in 2012 from Leeds University with an MSC in Computing Management. She has extensive background in the e-commerce industry and was a great addition our family here. She has contributed so much to our company, from helping us all learn how to use intricate web features and programs, to having a big heart, there is nothing that Nikki wouldn’t do to help any of us, regardless of how far she may be. She joined us in person for a few months and I can speak for all of us when I say it was the best time having her here! We hope she comes soon again, I know she misses us too. I mean, who wouldn’t?!

                                                   George

George just joined us and we lucky to have him on the team. Extremely energetic (reminds me of the Energizer bunny!) and OCD ridden, he has already re-organized the warehouse and the shipping room (I'm careful to keep him away from my office). He is a fast learner and brings a lot of experience with warehousing and shipping, having worked with different companies involved with logistics and imports/exports over the years. George is fluent in Spanish and English and will handle your orders with tender loving care!

Francisco

Francisco is our latest addition and just joined us in February of 2021. He works with George taking loving care of  incoming and outgoing shipments, both small packages and large pallet jobs. Like George, he is obsessed with keeping the warehouse and shipping areas clean and super organized (something I don't understand well). He is currently learning about our wide array of products and working hard at improving his English!

We honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. We are all so different and yet we all connect with each other in an unspoken way. Not many companies feel like a second home, and we are blessed enough to consider it one for us. We can easily say that it’s a pleasure coming into work each morning, especially with Anil's cafecito skills to make us love each other just a little more ;)

Karran

Karran is Anil's son and he has been helping the team during summers and after graduation. He manages the websites and apps and gets into testing complex integrations and new products. We asked him a few questions so that you get to know him as well

Can you provide a little background on yourself?

I was born and raised in Minnesota for 3 years. I then lived in Hong Kong for 2 years. I moved and stayed in Florida for over 20 years. I got my Bachelors in Computer Science in May of 2017 at Eckerd College. I worked in Thailand for 6 months from July to December of 2018. I was in a coding bootcamp called Coding Dojo in San Jose, California from July to December of 2019. I am currently doing my Masters in Computer Science at Nova Southeastern University. I am now working on the Acr4Sale website and Apps. I am very enthusiastic to be working here.

What was it about Acr4Sale that attracted me the most? I always wanted to work in web design when I was younger. I finally got to work on the Acr4Sale website using my skills in HTML and CSS. Finding out new ways of changing code on the website and utilizing my skills in HTML is important for growing as a developer.

Was there a project or initiative in your career that sticks out the most? I got to work on a Java algorithm called the Evolutionary Java Algorithm at Eckerd College. It is an algorithm that is about evolution. It uses binary strings to represent chromosomes. They crossover or mutate during multiple generations. At the end of the program, a report is printed that shows that all of the chromosomes converge to 1 (which shows that all of the chromosomes are evolving over time).

Where do you envision spending your next vacation? I always wanted to go to Moscow since it is a top tourist attraction. Russian culture as well as other European cultures fascinated me when I was younger. I would like to see what Russia is in real-life not what it is like in the movies.
